The Kildonan Lodge Hotel was built back in 1874; the hotel has retained the Victorian character and charm and combined this with modern facilities offering guests an interesting alternative to staying in the large hotel chains.

Facilities
There are a total of 15 guest bedrooms offering en-suite facilities. Guests can choose from standard and executive rooms with a choice of suites for guests requiring more space and luxury.
The guest bedrooms are is individually decorated adding more of a personal touch. The rooms are well furnished and some offer extra luxury such as a four poster bed and a private spa to enjoy.
The rooms offer comfortable 4 star accommodation. Room facilities include television with freeview channels, DVD player, telephone, radio, alarm clock, hairdryer, iron and ironing amenities, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. In addition guests will also get free newspapers and complimentary shortbread and sherry.

The hotel restaurant serves the best in Scottish cuisine along with influences from American, French and the South East Asia, resulting in a wide range of innovative dishes for diners. The restaurant uses a range of fresh, local Scottish produce. There a choice of dishes including a choice of meat, fish and vegetable dishes and tempting desserts. Guests can choose from the wine list to find the perfect accompaniment to their meals. The relaxed restaurant offers an enjoyable dining experience for guests.
The Lounge area has an open fire and the hotel bar offers guests a place to sit back and unwind with a choice of drinks available. Drinks include a range of Scottish whiskies, local beers, wines and spirits. The relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal place to catch up with family, friends and colleagues.
