Attractions in the local area include Carlisle Castle, Cathedral, a range of local shops and museums and the world famous Hadrian’s Wall, a World Heritage Site. Visitors can go on a cruise on Lake Windermere located 45 miles away, there are guided tours including walking and coach tours available.
The hotel is a good place from which to discover other Cumbria attractions including the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Abbot and Holker Hall, Blackwell Arts and Crafts House and Wastwater Lake.
